Why is my crown hard to turn?
If your crown is hard to turn, there can be several reasons for this.
With a screw-down crown, you first need to carefully unscrew the crown before you can operate it. To do this, gently turn it counter-clockwise until it releases.
Even with a normal crown, you may notice a certain amount of resistance from the mechanism. This isn't unusual, as long as the crown moves smoothly and without scraping or getting stuck.
Please never use force. If the crown gets stuck, feels unusually stiff, or won't press in fully or screw down properly, feel free to contact our customer service.
