Is sapphire crystal scratch-resistant?
Sapphire crystal is very scratch-resistant and considerably more robust than mineral glass.
This means that with normal everyday use, it's less prone to fine scratches. That's why sapphire crystal is often used for high-quality watches.
Even so, sapphire crystal isn't indestructible. Strong knocks, falls or a hard impact can also damage or crack sapphire crystal.
