Why does my leather strap squeak?
A slight squeak can happen with new leather straps and is usually nothing to worry about.
Leather is a natural material. Especially at the start, it can be a bit stiffer and only adjusts to your wrist and movement once you've worn it for a while.
After a certain break-in period, the leather usually becomes softer, which often reduces the noise on its own.
Please avoid water, care products or oils to reduce the squeaking. These can damage or discolour the leather.
If the strap creaks a lot, looks damaged or changes in an unusual way, please get in touch with our customer service.
