How do I start an automatic watch after it hasn't been worn for a while?
If your automatic watch hasn't been worn for a while, the power reserve may be used up. The watch will then stop. This is normal for a mechanical watch.
You can start the watch again by winding it manually:
- Leave the crown in its base position.
- Turn the crown clockwise about 20–30 times.
- Then set the time and, if applicable, the date correctly.
- Wear the watch regularly afterwards.
Your movement will then keep the automatic watch wound. If it still doesn't run reliably despite winding and regular wear, please get in touch with our customer service.
